Message From the Chief

Welcome and thank you for visiting Medford Emergency Medical Services’ website. At Medford EMS we are committed to providing quality pre-hospital emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Medford Township. Our staff is a combination of career and volunteer members that provide emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Our members pride themselves on having the opportunity to give back to their community.

Last year, Medford EMS responded to over 2,500 calls and each year that number continues to rise. We are always recruiting new members who want to join our team of experienced and talented EMTs. Our members are constantly training in order to increase the level of care that they provide to the community. EMS is a ever changing field and it is our goal to stay abreast with that change.

Medford EMS staffs 3 ambulances as well as 3 command vehicles to provide quick response to emergencies. We work hand in hand with Medford Township and the Medford Twp Division of Fire and we pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of emergency preparedness. In addition to responding to 911 emergencies, Medford EMS provides EMS coverage for township events such as the 4th of July Fireworks, Halloween parade and high school football games. We also operate an EMS bike team for large township events that have limited vehicle access.

Please explore our website to find out more about Medford EMS. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at (609) 654-0805 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you,
